Circumstances
Technical Sergeant Wolfe, Cliffe H. was last seen November 17, 1944 in a forest in Huertgenwald, Germany. The conditions in this period were extremely miserable due to violent enemy artillery fire that sowed death and destruction.
After World War II there was an intensive search for TSGT Wolfe until 1953, unfortunately without result. Study group Missing Soldier had been investigating this case since 2009.
